As Director of Cybersecurity, you’ll define and execute a vision that safeguards Sabey’s data centers, information assets, and critical infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Sabey’s cybersecurity program, aligning with best practices, business goals, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Networking & Infrastructure and Physical Security to operate and secure access control, surveillance, intrusion detection, and alarm systems.
- Maintain ownership of enterprise risk and threat tracking, maximizing investments in MDR, automation, monitoring, and integrated response solutions.
- Oversee incident response and escalation across IT, OT, and physical security functions; ensure coordinated planning and event management.
- Deliver company-wide security awareness and training programs.
- Manage annual budgets and align security investments with enterprise risk priorities.
- Build and execute a 12–36-month roadmap for converged security operations.
- Coordinate threat modeling, vulnerability testing, and tabletop exercises.
- Partner with Compliance on audit preparation, control documentation, and evidence maintenance.
- Define and deliver actionable risk and performance metrics that demonstrate security maturity and business value.
- Establish AI governance frameworks promoting responsible use, transparency, and secure deployment of AI tools and agents.
- Collaborate with internal AI teams to leverage analytics, automation, and threat intelligence for improved detection and efficiency.
- Oversee IT and OT security, ensuring consistent protection across enterprise networks, data centers, and operational systems (aligned with NIST 800-82 and IEC 62443).
- Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on enterprise risk, technology convergence, and emerging threats.
- Build strong partnerships with IT, Operations, Compliance, and business leaders to align security initiatives with corporate objectives.
- Stay ahead of evolving threats, technologies, and industry trends to maintain a resilient security posture.
- Embrace an AI-first mindset while demonstrating flexibility, clear communication, and responsiveness to critical incidents.
- Apply strategic and critical thinking to complex, cross-domain challenges while meeting SLAs and adhering to company information security policies.

Qualifications
- CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent certifications/experience.
- 8+ years in cybersecurity or converged security leadership roles.
- 5+ years managing security teams in critical environments.
- Demonstrated experience in budget planning, program leadership, and executive risk reporting.
- Experience implementing cybersecurity frameworks: NIST CSF, CIS Controls, Zero Trust Architecture, etc.
- Risk management, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management.
- Incident management and business continuity planning.
- Identity and Access Management (MFA, RBAC, SAML).
- Network security (micro segmentation, proxy, DMZs, whitelisting).
- SaaS and cloud security best practices.
- Operational Technology (OT) security.
- AI governance and secure adoption best practices.
- Must embrace an AI-first mindset
Location & Travel
This role can be based in Seattle, WA, with periodic travel to Sabey locations as needed.

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $174,107 - $261,160 DOE.
